D.S.K. Vanoli writes short stories, novels, and children's books. With a personal library of more than 2,000 books and manga, her reading tastes are every bit as eclectic as her writing.

Born in a small town in Germany on Halloween in 1997, she's of German, Tamil, and Italian descent, hoping to confuse her cats in five languages someday instead of just four. 

In the summer of 2007, she was whisked to London to be closer to her extended family, enjoy the rain showers of the city, and bathe in rivers of tea—black, three sugars.

During the move, she stumbled upon her mother's copy of 'IT' by Stephen King, and the allure of fictional murder proved impossible to resist, though nowadays she's a huge fan of all genres. 

She now resides in two countries, and when she's not tired from traveling, she loves to annoy her cats—Dobby, Luna-Socks, and Ahsoka. 

Her other hobbies include painting, playing video games, reading, baking, and learning to restore engines under the patient guidance of her husband, as well as desperately trying to make her Italian ancestors proud by not overcooking her homemade pasta. 

A former nursing assistant and office worker, she now freelances part-time and is focused on bringing more stories and novels into the world—sometimes in peace, but more often with cats walking across the keyboard and demanding treats.
